Grinding is without doubt one of the most important process steps when painting an object. We developed our automotive sponge cloth specifically for this application. Not only does it absorb grinding dust particles without leaving any residue, it also allows the cleaned surface to be dried quickly.
Grinding is without doubt one of the most important process steps when painting an object. Grinding not only promotes adhesion between the undercoat and the coats on top, but also has a significant influence on the finish of the final surface. Grinding dust is created when grinding, which remains stubbornly on the undercoat and collects in the pores and grooves of the half-finished surface. Grinding dust particles must be completely removed for the ensuing painting process, so that optimum adhesion is created.

Our automotive sponge cloth, especially developed for this application, enables not only residue-free absorption of grinding dust particles, but also for the cleaned surface to be dried quickly. The automotive cloth's extraordinary level of abrasion resistance guarantees a long lifetime and lint-free working. The Kalle Sponge Cloth is suitable for boil washing and can be generally washed through time and time again. This is the basis of the frequent reusability. The cloth is also ideally suited to clean the surface with silicon remover, cleaner, deionised water and degreasing agents.
